For instance, let's consider a comparison between two Wholecut shoes, both sized 42 EU. One shoe is crafted using the Zurigo Last, featuring a rounded toe, while the other utilizes the Monti Last, characterized by a long chisel toe.

The Monti last, with its long and narrow toe shape, results in a larger blind or unused space at the toe compared to the Zurigo last.

Despite the shoe on the right measuring 1 cm longer in total length (from heel to toe tip), both shoes effectively offer the same size. It's important to note that comparing the fitting of two different shoes based solely on their total length may not provide an accurate representation of their fit.
